Bug Description
If I write text using the Text tool, there are two ways to do it.
One is to draw a box with the text tool, and then the text will be bounded, the other is to just click anywhere and type the text.
If I just click, then the outset tool works, Control+) .
But if I make a bounded box, then the outset tool doesn't do anything. I understand the outset might come out the bounding box, since it's bigger than the letters, but that would be fine with me. I think it would be a very useful feature. I have to manually arrange my text now.

Hi,
Flowed text objects can sometimes cause problems...
You can convert the flowed text to "regular" text with "Text->Convert to text" so that it will be recognized as a regular text object
