Bug Description
When I try to add text to an existing drawing, the following message
or a similar one floods my console:
(inkscape-
Medium (Times New Roman)
(I launch Inkscape from the console.) Because of this flooding (I
think), inserting text is painfully slow. So much so, I have to give
up Inkscape to add annotations. In contrast, adding a path is fast.
What is the problem?
I use Inkscape 0.91 (directly downloaded from Inkscape's homepage) on
Mac OS 10.11.1 and XQuartz 2.7.8 (xorg-server 1.16.4).

1) Console messages not reproduced with Inkscape 0.91 r13725 on OS X 10.7.5, XQuartz 2.7.7.
Could you please attach a test case (Inkscape SVG file with a text which triggers these messages), and the Inkscape preferences file for the current user [1]?
2) The performance issue is not necessarily related to the console messages - we have several reports tracking different aspects of performance issues as well as regressions with Inkscape 0.91 with text editing (mostly in large complex documents). To further investigate (and compare with known issues, and on other systems) what you mention in the bug description we would need more details (a test case / steps to reproduce it consistently).
[1] See 'Edit > Preferences > System > System Info: User config' for the exact location of the user preferences - the folder is hidden in the Finder, and can be accessed with Finder's 'Go > Got to Folder' command.
