Bug Description
Using Ctrl+Backspace to erase an entire word has perfect functionality for most text in Inkscape; however, when used with text that has been placed on a path, it causes Inkscape to instantly close without either freezing or producing an error message. It's about as simple as it sounds; it can be reproduced by placing a path and a text object, placing the text on the path, and attempting to use Ctrl+Backspace.
Using Inkscape 0.91 on Windows 8 64-bit.
