Bug Description

Layers window is now limited by only layers, why not add a list of all objects (like gimp, photoshop, cinema4d etc)?
And add for once object editor of css, filters and other xml attributes:

- Bug #171995 (sf1735666) “Layer and Object Manager”
and plenty of other older reports. Do we need yet another separate report about the same issue?

(same question concerns bug #1316398)

Certainly not. Most reports are linked to the blueprint, and therefore easily available if we need to check the different implementation suggestions. I guess we could mark some of them duplicate. Do you see a report that could be the root report (the oldest one is not necessarily the most informative)?

Of course it would be great if someone could grab all the interesting ideas and update (write?...) the Object manager spec page (http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/ObjectManager).
