Linked offset disconnects after clipping with original shape

Hello!
If I create some shape, create a linked offset and then apply the shape as clipping path to the offset, the connection between offset and original shape will be lost.

I think it somehow linked with the bug that shown in this video (when I cannot clip object clone with the original shape):

I`m using Inkscape 0.48.4 on Win7 x64.
