Export PNG - Random if Page or Drawing is active

Inkscape 0.48+devel r12217
Windows 7
Working environoment:
Default unit for current document is mm.
Three layers is used and contins objects.
Behaviour is regardless If any objects is outside page area.
Inkscape seems to not be able to remember if "Export Area" is set to Page or Drawing. Whenever I Export to PNG, it's completely random if active tab is Page or Area.
With "not able to remember" I means both between independed sessions and within same session.
