Bug Description
Using a wacom intuos 4 tablet with inkscape 0.48.4 on macosx lion (installed via macports). In the "test area" under input devices, I can see that inkscape is receiving the data for both pressure and axis, but when using the caligraphy tool, the pressure and axis data is not being used. Get the same results with the current version (0.48.2-1)available via inkscape.org.
Not reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.2 (official package) as well as with local builds (using MacPorts only for the dependencies) of Inkscape 0.48.4 and trunk (GTK+/X11 2.24.13 and GTK+/Quartz 2.24.17) [*] and a Wacom Bamboo Pen&Touch (CTH-470):
Pressure sensitivity e.g. for the calligraphy tool works as expected if the device input is correctly configured to use the tablet pen for input. I cannot test axis data though since not supported with Bamboo.

Do you use the default variants (X11-based) for GTK+ and its dependencies, or the +quartz -x11 (or +no_x11) variants (e.g. via global variant settings in "$PREFIX/ etc/macports/ variants. conf")?
Reason for above question: Full tablet support with the Quartz-based backend of GTK+ is upstream work-in-progress: GTK+ 2.24 has recently got basic support implemented, but due to limitations of the Wacom driver it is rather unstable if used with command-line apps (as opposed to regular OS X application bundles).

[*] Note: My local MacPorts trees used for 0.48.x and trunk builds are somewhat dated i.e. not fully up-to-date with MacPorts' current versions of the relevant portfiles.
