Menu wanders off-screen when using multiple monitors

I'm using multiple monitors and the load indicator is on the main monitor an my second monitor is to the right and a bit up. I've configured it to show an indicator item (disk) which causes the charts to wobble left and right as the numbers change each second. When I open the menu on a single-monitor computer, I see that the menu is re-positioned every second as the indicator wobbles. On a multi-monitor computer, the menu moves about a screen to the right every second, making it almost impossible to read any of the values or choose any of the menu items.
