The time shown in the Unity panel does not update anymore

Hello,

I do use EWS, but I don't understand what does that have to do with
displaying the clock.

I will look into the bug #1311213 maybe I can figure it out.

Do you get the correct values by repeatedly calling:
 gdbus call --session --dest com.canonical.Unity.Panel.Service.Desktop --object-path /com/canonical/Unity/Panel/Service --method com.canonical.Unity.Panel.Service.SyncOne 'com.canonical.indicator.datetime
?

No, I get the same value that's stuck when looking at the panel.

Then it's not an unity issue...

could you try if the update from bug #1311213 fixes your issue?

I updated evolution-data-server from the ppa:mo42/private PPA and so far it looks good.

I will report back in a couple of days in case the problem persists.

Thanks, it would be better if you could test the official proposed update rather than the ppa though, that way you could help confirm the update is good and can be published as a stable update for the benefit of all Ubuntu users

Please provide instructions on how to install that update. On the other bug the only place where I could find packages was that PPA.

So far the update I did from that PPA seems to work fine, I didn't see any freezes ever since.
