Bug Description
IRC log snippet on the topic
<desrt> the hud assumes that if it finds a dbusmenu associated with a given application then there will be no need to read the gmenumodel-based menus
<desrt> i didn't anticipate that people would port half way to gmenumodel
...
<desrt> an either-or case has to be changed to a maybe-both
<desrt> but with how HudSource works that should not be difficult
That's something we should look at fixing for quantal

This may well not be able to make it into Quantal and should be considered for R. Need comment from Indicator teams as to what's possible to land in next week, and what's not.
