When removing control points in selected rectangle in the Control Points tab there is a pop-up about "an assertion failed." Unchecking "Show this dialog next time" it is possible to continue without problems, otherwise the pop-up appears when removing control points the next time.
It appears to happen every time regardless of project file. The problem did not happen in the previous versions of Hugin.

This is probably already fixed in default branch (changeset 69ef10dab84d).
Please test default branch and reopen tickets if it still happens with default branch with mentioned changeset.
