Bug Description

Binary package hint: cups

The hpijs driver prints blank pages but tries to print. I've tried every other ppd and Gutenberg works but does not print color.

Are both ink cartridges (black and color) installed and are they not empty?

Did you try different option settings with the drivers which you have tried? Perhaps only some modes do not work and perhaps the default mode set in Gutenprint is not color.

If you find modes which work, please tell which modes work and which not.

If nothing comes out of the printer, does the job disappear from the print queue or does it get into "stopped" state?

If all this does not lead you to correct results, you have probably two independent bugs, one in HPLIP (HP's printer driver framework, hpijs and hpcups) and Gutenprint.

For every failed job or job with undesired result please attach an error_log as described in the "CUPS error_log" section of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems
