Scan button does not scan no error message HP M148 DW

HP Device Manager ver. 15.0

Scan button does not scan no error message HP M148 DW

It does scan if I reboot to Windows, so the USB connection must be working.

The script seems to have some errors below: hplip/base/queues.py

libtool - already installed (2.4.7-5). So must be a script error?

libcups2 - already installed (2.4.2-3ubuntu2.5). So must be a script error?

There are other messages about missing packages, are these required? I can already print from Ubuntu 23.04 LUNAR
