Tried multiple installs, nothing works. How do I remove all of HPLIP?

Bug Description
Printer is ENVY Pro 6430e and driver is 3.22.10 originally I think it was 3.17.10.
Installed OK no errors flagged.
The scanner icon was installed by new driver. When clicked it disappears for about 10 seconds then comes back and says no devices found.
Printer purchased a week before Christmas
I have reinstalled a couple of times trying different options eg ui or i option.

Are you after wanting to have printing and scanning or
is removing all of HPLIP your real objective.
To do the former, OS and connection method is needed.
