Bug Description
My printer is an HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3525. From past couple of Ubuntu releases I have noticed that my printer takes a some time before printing and while printing it gets stuck with the status showing in the LCD as "Printing...". I have to manually cancel the print and it will show as "Cancelling..." and gets stuck there too. After this I have to shutdown the printer to get it out of this state and prevent any damage.
I have installed the latest hplip ( HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.21.2) ) and the hp systray plugin. I still get this issue. I have tested my printer in Windows 10 and it works as expected. Therefor my printer is not a problem. Please note I am printing via USB.
