hp laserjet 1010 printer stops printing

Bug Description

When I installed the hp laserjet 1010 printer on ubuntu desktop 18.04, it generates the following errors
failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
Inside the information of the device, in the tab of the printer, in item 8 (lpoptions_file_data) it tells me "there is no file or directory /home/xxx/.cups/lpoptions"

Hi,
The 'canberra-gtk-module' package not installed will not stop the print to happen in the device. Did the installation process got aborted after it failed to install this package?

You can try installing this package manually and check you are able to print the jobs. Please try this and update.

Hi Nestor,

"failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module" is a warning. There should not be any functionality issue because of it.
Can you please provide some more details.
What is the HPLIP version you installed?
Were you able to setup the device using hp-setup?
If so then run the command "sudo hp-logcapture" and then do print job and share the logs for furthur analysis.
