Plug-in INSTALL failed in Ubuntu (MFP m177fw via LAN, hplip 3.14.3)

Bug Description

When install the plugin downloaded from https://www.openprinting.org/download/printdriver/auxfiles/HP/plugins/ the following error was shown.

python-gobject and python-dbus are already installed and no missing required dependencies reported by hp-check

I've tried to upgrade to hplip-3.16.3 and follow the manual installations from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install/manual/distros/ubuntu.html

the following error was shown when configure HPLIP for installation

configure: error: cannot find python-devel support

I've fixed the problem finally. hplip required python3 in ubuntu 14.04.

Please consider to add python version checking in hp-doctor to simplify the installation process
