Printing does not work - gives message done, but no printing

Bug Description

Whatever I select to print, document or test page, message says done, no printing occurs.

Everything works in Windows, just not in Ubuntu 14.04

At first attempt, gave a Ubuntu system error, but later as above.

I gave up, reinstalled the previous version, now all is well.

Everything works fine with HPLIP-3.15.6, printing does not work with HPLIP-3.15.7.

NOTHING changed except the version of HPLIP.

Switching back to 3.15.6 fixed this for me as well. Also a Pro-MFP-M177fw

This is an issue with hplip 3.15.7 drivers. I have provided the patch
for the same in the bug report
https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/1476920. This issue will be resolved in our next version of hplip.

i have same problem with hplip 3.15.9 and Pro-MFP-M125ra
without install hp-plugin it shows backend error
after hp-plugin setup it gives message done, but no printing
