Bug Description

Hi

last week i had some problems with my HP Photosmart 5510 printer. Obviously, the print head was clogged. Normally not a big deal at all, but the feature for cleaning print heads seems to be disappeared in HPLIP Toolbox.

In the end, I had to boot Windows 7 and use the print head cleaning feature of the Windows driver instead.

Hi,

What is the status of the device showing in toolbox? If it is not able to find the status properly clean option will not appear in toolbox. Please try the command 'hp-clean' from terminal.

The status is "Busy" though the printer is in idle mode.

'hp-clean' seems to work.
