Bug Description

Hey,

I didn't see any references to work being done on latest release of RHEL\CentOS 7 ?

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/holland-backup/

Holland rpms are dependent on python 2.6, but latest CentOS comes with 2.7.

 [root@rocco-cent7 ~]# yum install holland-1.0.10-1.2.noarch.rpm

...
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: holland-1.0.10-1.2.noarch (/holland-1.0.10-1.2.noarch)
           Requires: python(abi) = 2.6
           Installed: python-2.7.5-16.el7.x86_64 (@anaconda)
               python(abi) = 2.7
               python(abi) = 2.7

Thanks for the bug report / feature request. I just enabled Cent/RHEL 7 builds in OBS, but looks like there's some headaches related to namespace packages + the OBS environment, so this will need a little bit of work. I imagine this will be fixed later today.

I will also see about getting holland added to the EPEL 7 repos as well.

Apologies. I had fixed this in the staging repos and just pushed to the main holland OBS repo last night after seeing your update. The underlying issue here was some old python-setuptools that these packages were being built against - this was some ancient cruft from many years ago that I just removed. Packages are building cleanly now.

The 1.0.10 packages are now in the CentOS7 repo here:

Let me know if you run into any problems.

Hey Andrew,

The installs looks great, any chance you could also upload to EPEL 7 repos?

Thanks,

Sorry - I didn't meant to let this languish so long.

By care of the holland/epel maintainer, holland rpms are in koji now and should hit EPEL stable repos in a few weeks if they get some stable karma.
