[hardy i386] missing the script xine-check

Bug Description
Binary package hint: xine-ui
I tried to run the script xine-check in hardy but the script is not available in /usr/bin. According to packages.ubuntu.com the script seems not to be included in one of the packages xine-console, xine-dpg, xine-plugin or xine-ui in hardy (whereas the man pages of xine-check are contained in the package xine-ui). In gutsy, xine-check is contained in xine-ui. Is the script missing or is it no longer part of xine in hardy?

furthermore, xine-ui ships a broken symlink to xine-check

xine-ui: /usr/bin/
