This is known bug, which unresolvable with current Gwibber architecture. The problem appears because Vkontakte API auth token depends on IP adress, so, every time IP changed, this error appears. You need re-authorize you account and (optional) press F5 for refresh.

Maybe, error text can be modified to clarify the error source?

Error text returned from VK API "as is" now (vk API return this error text, and this is very strange behaviour). But modify this text is a good idea, I agree.

Vkontakte change their's error message to "Unknown method passed: Session can be expired, revoked by user or connected with different IP address".
So, I think, ticket is nonrelevant now...
