Bug Description
Everytime I try to run Gwibber rev 654 (from Trunk PPA) in Kubuntu 9.10, I get this error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/gwibber", line 67, in <module>

File "/usr/lib/
self.w = GwibberClient()
File "/usr/lib/

File "/usr/lib/

AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'rsplit'
Is this some GTK dependency I'm not aware and not listed in the deb package or something else?

No, not a missing dependency. It isn't handling failing to get a value from something that should always have a value. Please run this and let me know what it returns:
gconftool --get /desktop/ gnome/interface /font_name
