Mark elements as read

Bug Description

I'm looking for a button to selectively mark elements as read, and for a button to mark all elements as read.
The idea behind this is that when I mark an element as read it becomes grey, and the next time I start gwibber is not displayed.
Also when an element is marked read it should be marked read also in the account (for instance google reader), so if accessing it from the browser I don't see again the messages which I have already read

This feature is very helpful. I have usually a lot of tweets and I need to know where I stopped reading. Alternate solution: after updating the stream the window dont scroll to the top. Its stays where I stopped reading (as in tweetie).

I have that feature in the Social plugin of Zimbra, and I find it VERY useful. Would love to have it in Gwibber!

Yep, also used to this from Spaz. Must have feature. Can we up the importance of this so it's in the next roll out? I imagine it will involve another field in the DB for read/unread, and then a toggle to mark all as read?

Something like that, anyway, but nothing too tough.
