Icon does not appear on desktop

Bug Description
Maybe it's unique to me but the Griffith Icon does not appear on my desktop; I get the default Icon. When I try to change properties, the real icon is there, but it does not change even after hitting apply.
I am running Windows 7, if that makes a difference.
