Bug Description
This is a nitpicky bug and its validity is dubious, but often I don't recognize contributors by their real names. A contributor's email address can provide a clue about his/her nickname.
A tooltip would be less hassle than clicking the link to compose an email or copy-pasting the link somewhere else to find out its contents.
Perhaps most importantly, a tooltip would provide users with a clue as to what clicking the link will actually do since the incorrect assumption can be made that the link leads to a website.
Yeah, I'm from the internet.
