Bug Description

Hi folks,

gnome-mplayer build-depends on libmusicbrainz3-dev, from the libmusicbrainz3 source package. This source package has been removed from Debian unstable, in favor of libmusicbrainz5 (see Debian bug #819169).

According to the Debian bug, this version of libmusicbrainz doesn't work anymore with the webservice either.

Please either update gnome-mplayer to libmusicbrainz5 or drop the libmusicbrainz dependency, so that libmusicbrainz3 can be removed from the archive.

This bug was fixed in the package gnome-mplayer - 1.0.9-3ubuntu3

---------------
gnome-mplayer (1.0.9-3ubuntu3) yakkety; urgency=medium

  * debian/control:
    - Don't build-depend on libmusicbrainz3; it is no longer supported
      and apparently doesn't work (LP: #1600046)
    - Build-depend on libnemo-extension-dev for integration with nemo
