Bug Description
If you execute
/etc/init.d/dbus restart
The battery status applet will die and ask if it should be reloaded. This
happens, eg, when you upgrade/install an application that uses dbus. The applet
should not do this, it should recover gracefully without prompting the user.

Thanks for your bug. What package have you updated? We have stopped to restart redhat/ suse guys argue the bus should bugzilla. gnome.org/ show_bug. cgi?id= 318439 anyway
dbus on packages update (dbus/hal upstream/
not be restarted, you should rather restart your box .. so the apps have no code
for bus restart). I've forwarded the bug to gnome-applets upstream:
