Bug Description
Hello Owais,
after upgrading to ubuntu 12.10, it seems that the messaging menu is not shown by default until an application uses it. Since until now you had to click on the gmailwatchers entry in the me-menu to turn the blue notification icon from blue back to white. I assume some change in how gmailwatcher works is needed. I am currently running version 12.03-bzr~
~$ /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/

/usr/lib/

Hi ! 423~quantal1
On my side, with ubuntu 12.10, the app works (eg. when receiving an email within gmail, I get the on-screen notification), but gmailwatcher does not appear at all in the messaging-menu, even with unread & notified emails, and the tray envelope is not updated (eg. remains grayed instead of turning to blue)
When running gmailwatcher --quite-start from terminal, I've got the same errors as Oier Mees, but emails are correctly notified..
gmailwatcher version: 12.03-bzr~
