Bug Description

did some more tries: i deinstalled the psb stuff and reinstalled. kde+openbox works and kde+kdm later when i switch off all the gl stuff. however i have no XV support. and the kernel panic persists.

thanks!

well kde is not the main issue at all:

* the kernel trace is while x is started
* no XV
* no glx

i tried with other wm - can continue that.

i'm still affected by:

* drm crash - see call trace
* no XV in X

kde starts now. should i open a new bug for the drm/XV issue?

thanks!

XV is broken, it is a known issue and under investigation.

about DRM i'm not sure...
Could you try the livecd image posted in the wiki page to see if you can reproduce the bug with it?
