Bug Description
OS: Ubuntu 12.04 Precise stable 32-bit
Application: gloobus-preview, from PPA on May 5, 2012 at 20:30 UTC
Clicking on the pause button when playing a song with gloobus-preview changes it to a play button to resume when needed. However, when controlling gloobus-preview via the playback controls (on my Acer Aspire 5738, the shortcut is Fn+Home), the song pauses and resumes as needed, but the icon does not change. If a user pauses the song via playback controls, the button remains a pause icon despite clicking it causing it to resume playing. Pressing the button with the mouse again works as normal.
I would include a video, but recordmydesktop renders so poorly that it would be of no help whatsoever. A still image would also not be of any help. Nothing unusual shows up in the terminal output.
Note: This ONLY happens to songs. Controlling videos with playback controls changes the icon as expected.
