Bug Description
In Ubuntu 11.10, when using oxygen-appmenu or plasma-menubar with firefox, appmenu-qt return a valid QMenu object but with only toplevel items (file, edit, ...) randomly.
I give unity a try and can't reproduce behaviour with Unity global menu bar so i guess it comes from appmenu-qt

Thanks for the report, I have this problem as well. It cannot be because of appmenu-qt though: appmenu-qt is used to expose menus for Qt applications on DBus. Firefox is not a Qt application so it does not use appmenu-qt. I suspect a bug in the DBusMenuImporter class of libdbusmenu-qt.
