Bug Description
When an image is synced the current charm first downloads it to a local temp. file prior to uploading it to glance.
We have seen this maxing out I/O for the underlying disk with big images and fat pipes, which can cause issues with colocated services.
If possible to save on I/O resources it would be great if images could be uploaded directly to glance, bypassing the need for local I/O.
