SCons can get into a state where "scons -c" won't work

Bug Description
Trying some linker options, ended up running "bzr revert" to revert those changes to SConstruct but continued to get errors ("pthread not found)" and "scons -c" to clean everything up didn't work. I had to "bzr ls --ignored|xargs rm" to get a build working again.
