Maximize - Restore -> change window size

Bug Description

When user click Maximize (or snap - maximize to half) then restore button it changes window size (please look attached video)

Any reason why this new bug report is marked as original while the older bug reports are marked as duplicates?

Not really. I was frustrated because of no response, so I've started search for duplicates of this bug to increase 'heat'

It's usually the other way around. Besides, the earliest report https://bugs.launchpad.net/gala/+bug/1252784 was confirmed and marked as low importance by danrabbit. So they know about the issue, they just have other, more critical bugs to attend to. I'll let you make the corrections.
