1) deploy master node
2) create cluster and configure it
3) do provisioning separately
4) reboot master node (I am not sure if this is required step)
5) try to ping external world from slave nodes

Expected result:

default route is present through master node. internet is pingable

Actual result:

internet is inaccessible as default route is missing.

this can lead to problems with time sync and other external-connectivity requiring services

although internet is not working, major services are ok as master node is working as NTP server and has access to the outer world.

External router is being set by network puppet module, is not it? So before puppet run we never expected that Internet is going to be available.
Actually, as I know, if master node has Internet, then just provisioned slave also should - as master node acts as a router in this case to the Internet, doesn't it anymore? There was masquarading configured, I guess.

Also, from external services we have only DNS & NTP, both must be available from master node, so I'd rather consider this as Invalid.
