There isn't a way to ask a question so this is submitted as a "bug"
I forked the plugin and updated it to version 10. It is deployed into our new cloud right now and I am going to be moving it out into production.
In case you need someone to provide some feedback. I will go ahead and push my meager changes and issue a push request if no one else was in the process of updating the repo.
