Bug Description
Whenever you enable Maintenance mode in CSS, it always redirects you to the old Site Config page and the CSS is terrible. This is in Firerox 3.5 on OS X 10.5.

I think this is actually a bug in the site configuration. which needs serious help. To test, turn on Maintenance Mode in the site config through the browser interface (not by hand editing the config.php file). After you save, see if it switched themes on you....
If it did, then we'll close this bug and write one up for site config.
