Can't add to Record Bucket from Item Status Detail View

In Item Status Detail view, attempting to add to a Record Bucket does not open the add to bucket modal & produces a console error (see comment #3 for console error.

Version: 3.6.5
Steps
In Item status, an item is selected and the action menu entry of Add to Item Bucket or Add to Record Bucket is chosen.
What should happen: A box comes up with choices to either select the name of an existing bucket or to give a name for a new bucket. When either is chosen, the box should disappear as the item is added to the desired bucket.
What is happening: the box remains and nothing is added to the desired bucket.

I tested on 3.6.2 and 3.8:
Add to item bucket worked fine for me from both item status detail view and list view.
Add to record bucket worked fine for me from item status list view, but did not work from detail view.
