Merging Circ Stats to Replaced Item Record

Bug Description

It'd be helpful if the system allowed the ability to merge circ statistics on books (in particular the circulation count) so that when we delete one copy of a book, we don't lose the total counts for the title.

Gina, would replacing the single-item stats in Item Status with title-wide circ stats (including deleted copies) help with this? This stats merging only makes sense to me if you never have more than 1 copy of any title.

Jason, having title-wide circ stats would definitely help, as long as it includes the circulations for other copies on that record that were deleted.

Title-wide circ stats would be awesome. Our libraries would love that. Call number (aka volume) level would be great, too.
