Bug Description

By default, when displaying authority cross references, Evergreen uses the name of the authority field from which the cross reference comes. For example, looking at http://catalog.berklee.edu/eg/opac/browse?blimit=10&qtype=author&bterm=mozart&locg=2, the "See Also" references are labeled as "See Also From Tracing -- Personal Name" and the "See" references are labeled as "Heading -- Personal Name."

This language is not intuitive to your average end user.

You can customize the labeling by changing the name of the authority control set. However, this isn't ideal for two reasons:

1. We really should try to make language as user friendly as possible with a default installation since many people will not think to customize these labels.

2. With our customization, which simply changes the labels to "See" and "See Also," we end up with multiple authority control sets with the same name. This seems to defeat the purpose of naming things. http://www.screencast.com/t/FqcAowbBRj

I think we could improve this labeling through one of the following methods:

1. Remove the authority control set names from the browse display and add "See" and "See Also" as labels to the browse interface. Those labels would then be followed by the authority heading.

2. Add a label field to the control sets that is used solely for the labels that display with the heading in the browse list. This would allow us to keep more descriptive names for the authority control set while providing a more user-friendly label. By default, we should add a nice user-friendly label to these fields so that no end user ever has to see the phrase "See Also From Tracing" again.

Marking this as a duplicate of bug 1638299. With the authority infrastructure work added to 3.0, the labeling is more user friendly, providing different labels for related, broader and narrower cross references. Evergreen sites can customize these labels by editing a tt2 file.
