Bug Description

Description:
I want to make EBS(AoE) strage traffic separated using IEEE 802.1Q VLAN of Linux. For example, I want to use eth0.100.
But, I cannot see etherd devices (e.g., /dev/etherd/e0.1) of AoE on NCs even if I configured VLAN and Eucalyptus SC correctly.

Environment:
  Base distribution: CentOS 5.4(x86_64)
Kernel : kernel-2.6.18-194.el5xen (x86_64, bundled in CentOS 5.5) for NCs
               kernel-2.6.18-164.el5 (x86_64, bundled in CentOS 5.4) for CLC/CC/SC/Walrus
  Eucalyptus : 1.6.2
     Downloaded from the following.
     http://eucalyptussoftware.com/downloads/releases/eucalyptus-1.6.2-centos-x86_64.tar.gz
  vblade :
    vblade-14-1mdv2008.1.x86_64.rpm (bundled in the above)

Resolution:
This is because the vblade package bundled in the eucalyptus-1.6.2-centos-x86_64.tar.gz has bugs with respect to 802.1Q VLAN packet handling and drops AoE requests from aoe drivers on NCs.
This bugs were fixed in vblade-15 or later versions.
Thus, upgrading vblade to newer version resolves this problem.
Note that, Fedora EPEL version (vblade-14-3.el5) still has the bug.
For me, vblade-20.tgz available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/aoetools/files/vblade/ is working fine.

Note:
If you need a spec file for vblade-20, I can upload it.

Regards,
Masanori
