Bug Description
This could be the MaxReports field. People report the crash three times, then stop completely, so the graph drops off. The reports are cleaned up after a day though, so the MaxReports count gets reset every day in theory.

This bug was reported in October 2012, but the graph doesn't go back as far as May 2012 (bug 1053410). Did it used to?
