Bug Description

For school, I have an online platform with some documents on it. Some of them are pdf. Other browser display the pdf inline or they download the file, but Epiphany just shows an empty screen. The HTML structure is an iframe, the src attribute is a php webpage that just gives the pdf.

This issue seems to be present in Epiphany on 3.22 (flatpak) as well.

The most popular example (and really bad design on the side of the web developers) is IEEE Xplore (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/home.jsp), the library system used to read papers published by IEEE.

I guess a sane workaround for this would be to just offer download of that PDF file.
