Spaces and dashes removed in Code 128 barcodes

Spaces and dashes are currently removed from the input no matter what kind of barcode type is selected.
This should be the responsibility of the validators or encoders instead, so that barcode types which can encode these characters are not affected.

This should probably implemented as we move barcode types to external classes. This would allow common functionality to be moved to a shared superclass.
