click object on stage, no click, both don't influence checked mark on the library.

    by Synaptic package manager (so, i didn't compile the sources myself.)

It's an known issue. You must use a personnal compiled version from source, because in .DEB current version, the management of "alpha" channels for bitmaps it's not perfect, due to previous limitations of GooCanvas prior to 1.0 version. So, here is the way :
1- install goocanvas>=1.0 from goocanvas repository or from ella repository
2- follow the how to at http://ella.tuxfamily.org/wiki/Download to install and compile from sources.

as an temporrary trick, you can, with you current version, do that : for each occurence of your bitmap, click on bitmap, use color selector, set alpha to 100%, it would fix temporary the bug, but it isn't a good idea for lon terme run.

Should i delete from synaptic these 4 files before tarball installing ?

I think it's OK with the neweditor and I think it's not necessary to remove these files (I have them on my computer, and it works ;) )

First i launched ella, my terminal shows the message
"(ella:23347): Gtk-WARNING **: Could not load image 'layer_new_16.png': Failed to open file '/home/NAME/ella_bzr/ella/data/ui/layer_new_16.png': そのようなファイルやディレクトリはありません( Not Found such a file or directory in japanese)
DIALOG Ouvrir".
i consider problem not solved and fixed. it means checked mark on library tab, when read .ella ?
Or, does not this message mean that problem ?

And when i try to run my work, a "red stroke" on timeline remains at the end of timeline.
on revision #862 and #863, i remember it runs from the start to end.

Should i NOT open the "saved .ella file" by the #862 on this #878 ?
when i tried to open the "saved .ella file" by the #862 , but ella browses ".svg file only.
However unluckily, ella flees on my desktop, i tried to open my .svg file.

i drawed a rectangle and rotated and saved as a newfile .ella.
i'm anxious for the 30 - 40 lines message on terminal:
(ella:24863): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_strescape: assertion `source != NULL' failed
is this no problem for me ?

However, saved .ella has no images. Forner time .ella had the image used.
Namely, no checked mark on library tab, thus .ella file has no image.
Do you understand me ?

I fix this for the revision 891, it's only a bad way (I don't know if we say something like this in english ^^) (but since revision 890, ella don't want to compile, so I hope xapantu will fix this problem soon)

It's a problem with the new editor, (even if the box is not checked?? in the old editor when you open an .ella file, xapantu is improving the new editor so I hope the problem of the case will be OK as soon as possible), you can find the last stable version of Ella with the old editor (Ella 0.3.2 released yesterday) here: https://launchpad.net/ella/+download

There are some problems with the new editor (revision 865) to load .ella files, I recommend you to use the last stable version (link before)

I'm really sorry but I don't understand (you speak about the mark in the library panel, but " Forner time .ella had the image used." I don't understand at all)

So to resume, I recommend you to use the last stable released version, because the new editor have a lot of problems, and if you have problems, tell us ;)
