Bug Description

There should be a configuration option for switching the unit system used for displaying values.

Suggestions for unit systems:
- SI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_System_of_Units)
- US (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_customary_units)

Well by default we could use the locale settings too.. Requires some investigation
