Bug Description
I faced a very frustrating issue after a big update last week (which also brought me AppCenter).
After updating with `apt-get`, I installed three suggested Drivers using the AppCenter:
- intel-microcode v3.20151106.1
- nvidia-340 v340.102
- nvidia-304 v304.135
Today I booted my PC and noticed that the mouse stops working after a while. A little googling revealed exactly my issue on stackexchange https:/
Alt+Tab really helps, but the bar at the top never responds to clicks after the first occasional focus switch.
To summarize:
- When I click to non-focused window behind the focused one, all mouse functions except moving disables
- If I change the focus using Alt+Tab, mouse starts working again
- When I click on a top bar, mouse stops working until Alt+Tab (If there is at least two windows)
UPD: Seems like nvidia-304 causes this issue
My video is GeForce 8600 and the **nvidia-304** causes problems with this card.
Please stop suggesting it (https:/

Same issue experienced here, same workarounds, same solution (remove nvidia-304). Running Elementary OS on an early 2009 MacBook Pro, dual graphics (NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT, and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M).
