Bug Description

This is the 2006-08-05 nightly, i'm not sure if it was running offline mode or not (i wasnt told).

The GTK box that pops up asking for a password has 3 'problems':

1. Its as wide as the screen - this means theres one line of text the width of the screen then all the controlls+other information in one bit of the screen.

2. If a user just starts typing thier password, it goes into 'package search mode', and doesnt enter the text into the password field.

3. Possably related, after entering the password, a user has to click 'ok', they cant press the enter key and have it work.

Please explain item 2 - I don't see anything that searches for a package in the code when you type your password.
I will fix item 3 and item 1.

This is the screen in question, when the password is typed, a bit next to teh 'packages' section. goes and does the 'password trick' in q. 2. heres what my mate said:

well heres a screen shot of it not doing it, when i press the Fn key to get to Prt Sc it shuts the little box with the password clearly displayed, which is over the bit that says "permission to EasyUbuntu /and press the OK button" bit of the text. all is cool if i remember to click in the hole for the password first, then i get nice reasuring dots (and the enter key now works)
