Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Add the Gmail docklet
2. Right click > Settings
3. Type in your username and password
4. Click "Apply". You should see "Account validation suceeded!"
5. Right click > Check mail. It still says "Username or password not set".
If you restart docky and go back to GMail setting, the password field will be empty. If you look at the gmail docklet in gconf editor, there is no password field (but I don't know if that's where docky is supposed to store it).

I have this issue too. The terminal output is "gnome- keyring- daemon could not be reached!"
This appears when Docky is started, when clicking "Check Mail," when you open the Gmail configuration window, and twice when you enter a password.
I'm using r1165 from the ppa.
